The weekend is just about over and I find I can concentrate so well at a Starbucks. The home office does provide all the comforts of, well, home, but nothing compares to the grinding of coffee beans, the tinkling of change, and the light breezes of conversation that enter into my brain, inspire, and provide proof that there is something going on in the world. Whether it's the home improvement plans of a couple, the diligent crossword puzzler, or a barista doing their best to make a sleepy-eyed traveler's day better. It is a gathering place for ideas, friends, and thoughts -- these thoughts.

It's difficult when selecting the best pieces of work to place in a portfolio. I mean, several years of photography, graphic design work, a "klein aber fein" collection of email pieces and a well-polished website, have made for a tidy grouping of favorites. Obviously the more I do, the more will be added. I think probably that's the most fun part of this -- the adding of newer and better work, to make for a newer and better site. :)
